The DTW106 has been constructed recently. GKB engineering Ltd. got the electrical and scada integration work. Before handover ICE-Team has been engaged to observe the progress of this DTW. When we inspect the Remote Terminal Unit. We noticed some issues during the inspection at the DTW106.
Finding By TEAM ICE
During the inspection we get the following issues :
- Entire cable sealing work is incomplete.
- Cable marks of cable are written in hand writing.
- Control cables are open. Need to arrange with jacket.
- Need to set up an good ELD for safety purpose and system demands.
- Need to install LIT & PIT to get process value. During the inspection there was no LIT and PIT installed. So we didn’t get any info about these instruments.
- Need to get proper Radio Network & its all parameter info and drawing also. Surprisingly the contractor team said they don’t have any information regrading the radio configurations.
