What is Dual Power Source
Dual power source means double power source to operate any electrical system.

How it work
There are two Nos power applicable for a system. 1st source is considered as Primary source. When primary source is available, the system takes the supply power from Primary source. If the Primary source is unavailable, the system takes the power from secondary source. It works like an ATS (Auto Transfer Switch)
